These are examples of artisan glasswork. Most are combinations of intentional shaping and the extremely hot glass doing exactly what it wants to do.

They are all made of borosilicate glass (trademarks Pyrex (Corning) and Kimax (Kimble)). This glass is very strong but it requires a very high temperature to work it. The color palette is limited but there are some vibrant shades available.
